Fede’s PhD studies at ICFO focused on understanding the property of entanglement among photons and the characterization of quantum states in these particles for which she won both the ICFO and UPC PhD Thesis Awards. Later, she joined the Outreach team at ICFO, sharing her knowledge in such a simple and accessible way the she succeeded in passing on her passion for physics and photonics to all audiences (ex. the Quantum Physics permanent exhibit at CosmoCaixa, the quantumtour.icfo.eu, the Young Photonics Congress, hundreds of visits of schools and individual students to ICFO…). Now working towards her teachers certification, she will focus on sharing her passion for science in order to provide equal opportunities for all children.
