I consider that Alejandra is a woman who has played an important role in science. Alejandra started from scratch the first quantum optics lab in Colombia. She has been involved in outreach activities such as working in the museum of icfo or organizing events such as the Laura Bassi meeting. She has always been available to talk even about things in life. She calls it «Therapy sections.» I believe that, like me, many of my colleagues appreciate the teachings that Alejandra has given us.
