Just an amazing person, a giant from my formative years. When I knew her she was a single mom, two kids, assistant professor at an Ivy League university. And yet she found the time to turn my undergraduate summer research report into a top-cited paper. Most efficient lab I ever saw; she was almost never there, but was on top of everything.
